Or not, it would appear that those are static... *sigh*

--Josh
Tue, 29 Jan 2008 14:46:44 -0600 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/1122 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/1122 KCRUG vs KCRug - Joshua French
Shouldn't the site be KCRUG instead of KCRug? I mean it's an acronym for Kansas City Ruby Users Group. Just don't want the Users and the Group to feel left out (despite my posting it on this forum instead of our Google group).

--Josh
Fri, 04 Jan 2008 14:43:09 -0600 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/1025 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/1025 RE: Meetup About Page - Ron Lambkin
An "About" menu item and page has been added to the site. I have included a list of links to the page. If you are logged in as an administrator, you may modify this page and the links list if you see fit.
Wed, 31 Oct 2007 10:11:28 -0500 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/889 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/889 RE: KC Rug on Doodlebit - Ben
Hey guys. I'll try and keep up. I drove up to Chicago this weekend to pick up some cabinets, and I'm still trying to catch up from the lost time.
Mon, 22 Oct 2007 18:42:58 -0500 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/879 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/879 Meetup About Page - Ryan Flannagan
In light of the new KCRug page. I thought I would add an about page to
the meetup group website and point browsers to the new website.
However, I need some a general history of KCRug. I know the basics but
if anyone could fill me in on the details.

KCRug has been around for 2+ years, correct? Does anyone have the date
when we were founded. Who were the original founders? Some sort of
mission statement would help. How many ruby geeks does it take to
change a light bulb? etc.

Basically, I would just like to write up a short about page
telling the general world who, what, where, when, why and then point them
at this very pretty new website. Anything, you have to add would
really be appreciated.

Thx,

Ryan
Mon, 22 Oct 2007 10:48:28 -0500 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/878 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/878 RE: KC Rug on Doodlebit - Ron Lambkin
I'll second that!
Mon, 22 Oct 2007 10:00:16 -0500 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/877 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/877 RE: KC Rug on Doodlebit - Sean Cribbs
It would be awesome if Ben could make it and lead the discussion!(?)
Mon, 22 Oct 2007 09:22:54 -0500 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/876 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/876 RSS feed - Ron Lambkin
Why not take advantage of the RSS feed on our site? I use Sage in the sidebar in Firefox. In Sage, I just click on the magnifying glass to 'discover' this feed while I am in this page. Or you can just click on the Subscribe icon in the "Forum Posts" box on this page.

By the way, you can post to this forum, but you have to register first. Click on Register in the upper-right corner of the page to get into the swim.
Sun, 21 Oct 2007 11:14:56 -0500 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/875 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/875 KC Rug on Doodlebit - Ron Lambkin
The mirror for our group website [http://kcrug.org] has been changed to take advantage of Doodlekit [http://doodlekit.com]. Doodlekit is really slick. It has been created by KCRug member Ben Kittrell and Heath Huffman, proprieters of "Doodlebit Web Based Solutions" [http://doodlebit.com]. It is Ruby on Rails code and is very well done.

Ben has setup a free Doodlekit site for use by KCRug. Jason Clinton and I have made a few modifications to the site. At the next meeting, the site, its uses and future modifications, and the mechanics of Doodlekit will be open for discussion.
Sun, 21 Oct 2007 10:58:17 -0500 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/874 http://kcrug.org/forum/message/874
